Kuna, kuna, kuna
Dugi Otak, Croatia When we decided to return to Croatia this year, we went online to see if anything had changed...
As we struggled with turning around to head home, we sailed through some of the nicest islands of our trip. The Grenadines are small, picturesque islands with great people. Mustique is an island not commonly visited by cruisers or tourists. It is a private island with one hotel, a couple of restaurants, great beaches and vacation homes for some of the world’s most famous/wealthy people. It was only 12 miles from Bequia, so we couldn’t pass it up.
Mustique was small enough that we walked all around the island. We spent our days walking from beach to beach, snorkeling and looking at the massive houses along the way.
There are no cars on the island and locals get around via golf cart.
We had a great dinner at Firefox, a restaurant that overlooks the harbor in Britannia Bay, and stopped into the legendary Basil’s Bar for some Sunday evening Jazz.
From our anchorage, we could Canouan and the Tobago Cays on the horizon, so we decided to continue just a little further south.
