New York to Rhode Island

Block Island, RI

We traveled up the Long Island Sound, visiting friends and quaint harbors. The weather was out of the North East bringing a chill to the air and rough conditions, so we spent a couple of days in Port Washington and Port Jefferson (NY). Had a great sail to Block Island. This place is a hub of activity with over 1,000 boats in the small harbor for a foggy summer weekend. We road our bicycles across the island from the South lighthouse to the North lighthouse and back to the Great Salt Pond.
