Great Harbor Jost Van Dyke BVI
While cleaning the bottom of the boat before leaving the US, we found a lot of growth. It had been almost a year since she was painted, so we had Berkeley East hauled and the bottom painted at Nanny Cay Tortola.
With our new bottom paint we made a quick passage to Jost Van Dyke and spent a couple of days hanging out in Great Harbor and White Bay. We whiled away an afternoon at the Soggy Dollar Bar, known for the wet money they receive from people swimming into shore for drinks, and as the inventor of the “pain killer” (a popular island drink).
We have checked out of the British Virgin Islands and are off to the US Virgin Islands.
