After weeks of bad weather and extensive boat work, we were finally ready to leave Berkeley East’s winter...
In route to the Azores
Someone took our wind. Or some how we where transported into the doldrums overnight.
At the 6am watch, we are bobbing rather than sailing. So much for the 9-day crossing idea. On the positive side, Berkeley East is really clean after all the rain last night.
This afternoon brought light winds, birds, a huge pod of dolphins and whales as long as the boat, a great consolation for the slow pace.
