While in Maine, our friends Jan and Paul joined us for a sail through the islands in Casco Bay and up into the mid coast of Maine. We stopped at fishing villages in Wiscasset and Will’s Gut for lobster. After three days of lobster for lunch and dinner we’d had our fill, except for Jan who couldn’t get enough.
We had great weather for their visit with clear blue skies. One drawback of the clear weather was that the overnight temperatures were very crisp (in the low to mid 40’s). The Maine coast was beautiful. Every island and harbor had its own charm.
